Olympia Fields, IL—(ENEWSPF)—March 2, 2012. Lance Corporal Christopher Mann is safely back home with us! He has returned from his second tour of duty in Afghanistan where he served on the front lines.
Christopher joined the USMC in August 2008. He served his first tour in March in Marjah, Afghanistan Dec 2009 to July 2010.
Christopher was deployed for his second tour in July 2011. He is currently stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
Christopher is a 2007 graduate of Bloom High School where he was involved in NJROTC for 4 years.
Residents are invited to join with family and friends to welcome home this American hero and thank Christopher for the many sacrifices he has made and continues to make while serving our country.
Staging for the event will take place on Saturday, March 3 at Olympia Fields United Methodist Church, 20301 S. Western Avenue beginning at 4 p.m.
