Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Park Forest Police ask the public’s help with any information regarding a shooting that took place Saturday, June 29, 2019, in the area of Westwood Drive and Westwood Court.
According to a statement released by police Sunday afternoon, the shooting took place shortly after noon.
The shooting is believed to have occurred in conjunction with a cannabis transaction, police said in the statement.
“No persons were injured, however, a vehicle of one of the parties was struck,” police said in the statement.
Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information should call the Park Forest Police Department Investigations Division at (708) 748-1309.
“We also ask area residents to check and retain their home surveillance video from this time period,” police said.
“If a detective has not been in touch with you yet, they soon will,” police said.
