Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Three purses valued at $150 each, two silver Canon cameras valued at $424 and $273 respectively, and a Dell laptop computer valued at $1337.90 were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Osage Street on October 28.
Two women were arrested and charged with battery when police were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of South Orchard Drive on October 30.
A Sanyo 26-inch flat-screen television valued at $160 and a Dell laptop computer valued at $350 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Marquette Street on October 30.
A Dell notebook computer valued at $600, a Nintendo game system valued at $300, an Xbox 360 valued at $150, an Xbox 360 valued at $350, a Comcast HD DVR valued at $800, a 22-inch television valued at $300, a computer monitor valued at $200, and a 26-inch television valued at $500 were reported stolen from a residence in the first block of East Rocket Circle on October 31.
A juvenile was arrested on October 31 and charged with obstructing a peace officer when detectives patrolling near the skate park at Forest Trail Middle School observed approximately 50 subjects running in various directions.
A window of a residence in the 500 block of Lakewood Boulevard was reported shattered on October 31.
A resident told police that while riding his bicycle on Winnemac Street, an unknown juvenile threatened him with what he believed to be a BB gun on October 31.
Two gold interlocking wedding rings and a plain silver men’s ring valued collectively at $1300 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Marquette Street on October 31.
Rosemary Mayfield, 47, 111 Hemlock St., Park Forest, was arrested on October 31 and charged with obstructing identification, resisting a police officer and processed on two outstanding warrants when police pulled over a vehicle in which she was a passenger. The vehicle was pulled over on Allegheny Street at 26th Street. The driver of the vehicle, Dorothy A Rife, 35, 2229 Astor St., Sauk Village, was issued traffic citations charging one red taillight, driving with a revoked license, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
An iPod Touch and iPod earphones valued at $300 were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Titonka Street on November 1.
A T-Mobile cell phone valued at $300 was reported stolen from a juvenile walking in the 3300 block on Western Avenue on November 1.
Two vehicles parked in the 500 block of Lakewood Boulevard were reported vandalized by a key on November 1.
A purse valued at $21 was reported stolen from a package that had been delivered to a residence in the 100 block of Westwood Drive on November 1. The package had been left in front of the residence.
A juvenile was arrested and charged with residential burglary on November 2. The arrest was in relation to a burglary in the 200 block of Towanda Street.
Bennie Stroud, 32, 1053 Maple St., Kankakee, was arrested on November 2 and charged with domestic-related criminal trespass when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Somonauk Street to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.
A window of a residence in the 300 block of Neola Street was reported shattered on November 2.
Donald Fleming, 25, 14 Apache St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 2 and charged with assault and battery when police were dispatched to the area of Lakewood Boulevard at Westwood Drive to investigate a suspicious person complaint.
Sean Johnson, 24, 2 Sangamon St., Park Forest, and Erik A. Thompson, 20, 22139 Ridgeway Ave., Richton Park, were arrested on November 2 and charged with possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Somonauk Street to conduct an investigation regarding suspected drug activity.
A purse was reported stolen from a driveway in the 100 block of Larue Street on November 3.
Tameka A. Smith-Craig, 30, 23443 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on November 3 and charged with felony theft when police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a complaint of theft.
Alex D. Johnson, 21, 4216 W. 175th Pl., Country Club Hills, was arrested on November 3 and charged with possession of cannabis when detectives on patrol conducted surveillance in the 400 block of Sauk Trail, an area suspected of having drug activity.
Christian D. Laster, 22, 338 Shabbona Dr., Park Forest, was arrested on November 4 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a domestic battery complaint.
Julian Williams, 19, 4222 W. Farmington St., Richton Park, and Devonte Johnson, 18, 108 Warwick St., Park Forest, were arrested on November 4 and charged with loitering when detectives on patrol in the 300 block of Sauk Trail observed the two sitting on an electrical box on the west side of a gas station where, according to police, a sign was posted that read, "No loitering, trespassing, soliciting. Violators will be prosecuted."
Nathan L. Moore, 30, 161 Hemlock St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 5 and charged with trespass to property and disorderly conduct when police were dispatched to the first block of Main Street to investigate a report of trespassing.
Phillip S. Menendez, 35, 254 Sangamon St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 6 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Sangamon Street to investigate a report of a "hold up" alarm.
An Acer laptop computer valued at $500, $25 cash, an Xbox game system valued at $300, and a 32-inch flat-screen plasma television valued at $400 were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Todd Street on November 6.
Whitney L. Williams, 24, 649 E. Glenwood-Lansing Rd., Glenwood, was arrested on November 6 and charged with felony possession of more than 10 g of cannabis with intent to deliver and processed on a warrant out of Park Forest. Police had been dispatched to the 100 block of North Arbor Trail to investigate a report of a reckless discharge of a firearm. Police say they located the suspect vehicle in the first block of North Arbor Trail. The driver of the vehicle, Marcus J. Alexander, 22, 3347 W. 16th St., Chicago Heights, was also arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs. A passenger, Bianca M. Byrd, 22, 747 Red Oak Lane, Apt. 5K, University Park, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis.
A utility box in the rear of the business in the 300 block of Sauk Trail was reported vandalized on November 7.
