Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: Please note that we suffered a fatal program error while at the PFPD last week. While using Dragon Naturally Speaking 10.5 to read police reports, and after spending 2.0+ hours doing so, Dragon suffered a fatal error, and everything we did was lost.

We returned to the PFPD today to find that we only had the reports available below. No reports between 5-2-12 and 5-9-12 were available. This is not uncommon when reports have been filed. There is, in effect, a window of opportunity to read reports.
All of that having been said, we will return to the PFPD this week diligently to report on recent police reports.
Please note: an arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. It is the policy of eNews Park Forest to not remove items in the public record from publication. If your name is listed in the police reports, we will only add information relevant to the final disposition of the case at hand, e.g. "Mr. Smith was subsequently acquitted," "Mr. Smith entered a guilty plea," or "All charges against Mr. Smith were subsequently dropped." We will do so upon receiving and verifying proof of such disposition.

Several health and beauty products were reported stolen from CVS Pharmacy, 1 Main St., on April 28.
An exterior air-conditioning unit valued at $2000 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of E Street on May 10.
A resident told police on May 10th that he received a letter from Fairway Capital Recovery regarding a debt of $3300, a transaction he had never been a part of, according to police. The resident told police that an account had been opened with Check’n Go online and he had been listed as a cosigner. Police are investigating.
Terry J. Clay, 39, 23453 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on May 10 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 23400 block of Western Avenue to investigate a report of domestic battery.
Police say someone scratched the paint on the driver’s side, passenger’s side, and tailgate of a vehicle parked on Cunningham Street on May 10th.
A blue Huffy 20-inch BMX-style bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen from the 400 block of Victory Drive on May 10.
Dustin M. Huebner, 22, 1244 East Ave., Berwyn, was arrested on May 10 and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia when an officer on patrol observed a suspicious automobile in the area behind 200 Norwood Square. Another passenger in the vehicle, Fernando Martinez, 23, 5925 S. Mozart St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools. Police say Martinez told them that he had received a call from a friend about an old abandoned warehouse in Park Forest that had copper and scrap inside.
A 22-inch Dynex flat-screen television and a 13-inch flat-screen television were reported stolen from the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard on May 11.
A man told police on May 11 that his vehicle was struck by two rocks while he was driving his vehicle southbound on Orchard Drive near the Canadian National railway viaduct. Because it was dark outside, the man said he was unable to get a good look at either of the offenders. Police observed chipped paint on the hood of the vehicle and the windshield of the vehicle was also chipped.
A 40-inch LCD Magnavox television valued at $500 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street on May 11.
Darryl L. Washington-Evans, 19, 16 McGarity Rd., Park Forest; Lurenzo J. Carr, 18, 20 McGarity Rd., Park Forest; and Kellyn W. Jones-Dekayie, 20, 439 Natoma St., Park Forest, were arrested on May 12 and issued municipal citations charging possession of cannabis after police responded to the 300 block of Meota Street to investigate a suspicious persons complaint.
