Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Todd Street on November 28 to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. According to police, witnesses reported that a third individual with whom they were having a dispute went to the trunk of his vehicle, took out a gun, pulled the slide back and pointed it at an individual. The gun resembled a Glock, according to police. Police have suspect information and are investigating.

Joshua W. Bolden, 20, 10336 W. Walden Pkwy, Apt. 2R, Chicago, was arrested on November 28 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Tahoe Street on November 28 to investigate a report of a domestic dispute.

A garage window of a residence in the first block of Water Street was reported shattered on November 29.

A 58-inch Sony flat-screen television valued at $800 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Farragut Street on November 29.

A Hewlett-Packard laptop computer valued at $500, a Kodak digital camera valued at $100, a GE digital camera valued at $60, and a Nikon D40 digital camera valued at $900 were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Washington Street on November 29.

Readale Thomas, 49, 237 Allegheny St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 29 and charged with felony driving while license was revoked and issued citations charging failure to signal a turn, failure to wear a seatbelt, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Police observed that the vehicle Thomas was driving turned north onto Allegheny Street from 26th Street without signaling. Additionally, police say that Thomas was not wearing a seatbelt.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Washington Street on November 29 when a resident told police she observed a suspicious subject standing on a chair below a bedroom window of a residence attempting to tamper with the bedroom window, possibly attempting to gain entry to the residence, according to police. The resident yelled out to the subject who subsequently ran away.

The rear driver’s side taillight of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Main Street was reported to have been shattered by a rock on November 30.

Police say a garage door of a residence in the 100 block of Nanti Street was reported damaged on November 30. Police say it appeared as if someone was trying to pry the door open, but entry was not gained.

Two juveniles were arrested and issued citations on November 30 charging disorderly conduct when officers working at Rich East High School were notified of a fight.

A kitchen counter and cabinets valued at $1500 and copper pipes valued at $1500 were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street on November 30.

A purse was reported stolen from inside a church in the 2900 block of Western Avenue on November 30.

Three tires of a vehicle parked in the first block of Hemlock Street were reported slashed on December 1.

Edward C. Harley, 35, 22401 Thomas Ct., Richton Park, was arrested on December 1 and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Somonauk Street regarding a report of a domestic disturbance.

A vehicle parked in the 300 block of Seminole Street was reported scratched in several places around the vehicle, including a 6 foot scratch across the passenger’s side of the vehicle. The report was made on December 2.

Aqueela V. Davis, 23, 23435 Western Ave., Apt. B20, Park Forest, was arrested on December 2 and issued citations charging possession of cannabis and disobeying a red light when an officer on patrol on Western Avenue observed the vehicle Davis was driving southbound on Western Avenue traveling at a rate of speed clearly above the posted limit, according to police.

Deon M. Deyampert, 25, 17701 Dogwood Ln., Hazel Crest, was arrested on December 2 and charged with possession of cannabis, driving under the influence, driving under the influence combination, illegal squealing of tires, failure to signal, and improper lane usage. An officer on patrol in the Family Video parking lot observed the vehicle that Deyampert was driving squeal its tires as the vehicle started eastbound on Sauk Trail at Blackhawk Drive as the traffic light turned green, according to police. The vehicle began to accelerate at a high rate of speed, according to police, and the officer pursued the vehicle.

A window of a residence in the 100 block of Wilson Street was reported shattered on December 2.

Police say five light poles on the south end of Tamarack Street were discovered on December 3 to have their wiring cut and approximately 50 feet of copper wire taken. Additionally, a transformer box had its wires cut and stolen.

A purse containing items valued at $320 was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Winnemac Street on December 3. Police have suspect information and are investigating.

Kristine L. Bartman, 34, 462 Titonka St., Park Forest, was arrested on December 4 and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance when police responded to the 400 block of Titonka Street to investigate a report of a subject who was reported to be in possession of a controlled substance.

A checkbook was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Chestnut Street on December 4.

A 39-inch Samsung flatscreen screen television valued at $400, a Sony android tablet valued at $500, and a Nintendo Wii game system valued at $300 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Marquette Street on December 4.

A kitchen window screen was reported removed from a window of a residence in the first block of Monee Road on December 7.

A 42-inch Vizio flat-screen television valued at $500, a guitar amplifier, and a set of house and grudge keys were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Natoma Street on December 7.
