Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police blotter reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Two packages containing a jogging suit and an Apple iPad were stolen Dec. 8 from a residence in the 200 block of Rich Road.

Brian A. Marr, 30, 461 Shabbona Dr., Park Forest, was charged with criminal trespassing following a disturbance Dec. 8 in the 200 block of Allegheny. According to a witness, a man refused to leave a home during a disturbance. After police convinced the man to leave, he returned to the residence a short time later.

Darrell L. Allen, 30, 360 Minocqua St., Park Forest, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property following a disturbance Dec. 9 in the 300 block of Minocqua

Police reported a witness had found opened packages Dec. 10 in an alley near the intersection of Berry Street and Early Street.

Four packages were stolen Dec. 13 from a residence in the 100 block of Nanti Street. According to a report, a witness told police that a black SUV driven by a woman pulled up in front of the residence about 4:30 p.m. that day and a male, who covered his face, took the packages from the residence’s front porch.

A FedEx driver reported witnessing two men take a package, which the driver had just delivered, Dec. 15 from a residence in the 100 block of Illinois Street. The driver told police that she delivered the package, then as she went to continue her route, saw the two men with the package walking away from the house.

A gym bag and children’s clothing were stolen from a vehicle sometime late Dec. 15 and early Dec. 16 in the 0-100 block of Birch Street. According to a report, the vehicle’s rear window was shattered.

A package was stolen Dec. 19 from a residence in the 200 block of South Orchard Drive.

Adreanna C. Boyd, 22, 4670 W. Lilac Ave., Monee, was charged with driving with one headlight and possession of cannabis following a traffic stop Dec. 19 near the intersection of Elm Street and Western Avenue, police said.

Police responded to a burglary in progress at approximately 4:40 a.m. Dec. 23 at the Game Stop store located at 2520 Lincoln Highway. According to a police report, police took two men into custody, who may have been persons of interest in the burglary, during a traffic stop a short time later pending further investigation.

Meior K. Burnett, 36, 294 Ash St., Park Forest, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident following a traffic collision Dec. 23 at the intersection of 26th Street and Western Avenue, police said. According to a police report, a SUV traveling south on Western and making a left turn onto 26th Street collided with another vehicle, then left the scene.
