Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police blotter reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Marcellus D. Whitley, 26, 11115 S. Vernon, Chicago, was charged with speeding, resisting a peace officer, disobeying a police officer and battery following a traffic stop Aug. 9 in the 100 block of Algonquin, police said.
Police reported that a car tire was slashed late Aug. 11 or early Aug. 12 in the 100 block of Hemlock Street.
Three vehicles parked in the parking lot of an auto repair shop in the 80 block of South Orchard Drive sustained damage on Aug. 12. According to a police report, two vehicles had rear windows shattered while a third had its rear window and a rear passenger-side window shattered. According to police, all damage seemed to be from a pellet gun.
