Law enforcement surrounding the Ohio State University campus
Horrific news from the Ohio State University campus:
Ohio State Emergency Management sent a Buckeye Alert of an active shooter on the campus.
Columbus Fire confirmed eight people total were injured and transported to local hospitals, seven in stable, and one in critical condition
According to reports on WBNS TV10, four of the victims were shot, the others were reportedly stabbed. The assault started when a person or persons crashed an SUV into the chemical engineering building. Early reports indicate one person exited the SUV and began stabbing people while another began shooting. One suspect has been confirmed to have been shot and killed by police. Law enforcement are scouring the campus and surrounding area and trying to determine if another person was involved.

WBNS TV10 is reporting another person is being treated by medics, bringing the total injured to 9 people.

The Columbus Dispatch has backtracked, now saying there was only one suspect:
Nine people were injured when a man ran into pedestrians with his car on the Ohio State University campus, then exited the vehicle with a butcher knife and started cutting victims.
Less than a minute after the attack, an OSU police officer shot and killed the suspect. Despite rumors of a second suspect, police and campus officials say there was one person involved in the attack.
