Olympia Fields, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Over a thousand people attended a fundraiser at the Olympia Fields McDonald’s for Park Forest Police Officer Timothy Jones, critically injured in the line of duty, recovering slowly — but surely, many hope — at a rehabilitation facility.

Band members from the Rich Central Central High School of the 227 School District performed at the event on April 11, 2016. The event lasted from 5 – 8 p.m. and featured sales of wrist bands, shirts, and stickers honoring the young officer.

And Ronald McDonald made an extended visit as well.
