Volunteers Sought for Park Forest Community Service Project

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—August 20, 2018

The Village of Park Forest and AmeriCorps NCCC is seeking volunteers to help decorate trash cans to be placed around the community in effort to reduce litter. Bringing your own water and sunscreen is highly advised for these events.

On Saturday, August 25, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., take part in trash can painting. Meet at the Recreation and Parks Municipal Garage located at Water Street & Park Street located across the street from the Park Forest Water Treatment Facility.

On Tuesday, September 4, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., help place the new cans at strategic spots around the community. Meet in the parking lot of Park Forest’s Village Hall located at 350 Victory Drive.
