The New Look of eNews Park Forest

Editorial

Welcome to the new look of eNews Park Forest.

In our ongoing commitment to bring news to Park Forest and beyond in the clearest possible manner, we have changed the look of eNews Park Forest. Our feature stories will be at the top of the web page, and all local stories will appear in the bottom section of the web page automatically as they are added throughout the week.

We publish new stories every day. Our major announcement of new articles will still occur on Mondays, but local stories will now be available on site as they are added daily.

We have also simplified our menu structure at the top of the page. All of our content is still available. The only thing that has changed is the overall look of the site.

Clubs and organizations now occupy their own space. Click on any of the logos and read the latest from the many volunteer organizations that have helped make Park Forest strong since its inception. After reading, why not consider joining one or more of them?

Newsflash items now appear in an accordion menu at the top of the right columns. This menu also features the latest stories published on eNews Park Forest, as well as our most popular stories over the past seven days. The search module is also in the accordion menu. A more comprehensive search of eNews Park Forest is possible by logging onto the site and clicking on the Archive>Search menu item which appears at the top.

Of course, Reader Blogs are still a part of eNews Park Forest, and appear as well on the home page with the other news.

Currently in development is a Business Directory for the Park Forest area and beyond. This is available for review now by logging onto the site.

As we continue to grow, businesses will certainly want to be a part of our directory, but will also benefit from advertising opportunities.

Again, welcome to the new look of eNews Park Forest. Thank you for reading and coming back.

Please login — the login is at the top of the page now — and let us know how you like the new look!  No account?  Registration is free, and well worth it.
