Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– St. Mary School in Park Forest will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week from Sunday, January 27, 2008 through Friday, February 1, 2008. This year’s theme is "Catholic Schools Light the Way." The following are among the many activities are planned for the week:
- On Sunday 1/27, there will be a Family Mass at the 9:00 a.m. liturgy followed by Doughnut Sunday and an Open House. Students’ Science Fair projects will also be on display.
- On Monday, 1/28 the St. Jude Math-a-thon will begin.
- Tuesday, 1/29 is Student Appreciation Day.
- Wednesday1/30 is Volunteer Appreciation Day
- Thursday, 1/31 is Teacher Appreciation Day
- Friday, 2/1 is Grandparents Day. Then in the evening on Friday, February 1, St. Mary School will hold a Pasta Dinner from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Ryan Hall. The cost for the dinner will be $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children age 10 and under. All are welcome to remain after Friday’s dinner for Bingo from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
