The cast features Mélisa Breiner-Sanders (Mel), Sam Krey (Ted), Dyllan Miller (Lanie), Marjorie Muller (Tooth Fairy), Jack Disselhorst (Flight Attendant/G.I. Joe), Julia Atkin (Lenora) and Brian Healy (Guy).
The production team includes Peters (director), Mark Elliott (music director), Phil Timberlake (vocal coach), Patrice Egleston (movement director), Jacob Ives (scenic designer), Meg Burke (costume designer), Anthony Forchielli (lighting designer), Connor Ciesil (sound designer), Lauren Quinlan (dramaturg) and Alexa Santiago (stage manager).
Peters is in his third and final year of the MFA directing program at The Theatre School at DePaul University. He founded and served as artistic director of Glass Mind Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland for four years. He was an artistic intern at Victory Gardens, and his recent Theatre School directing credits include Noah Haidle’s “Vigils,” Holly Arsenault’s “Undo,” Våclav Havel’s “The Memo” and Rajiv Joseph’s “Gruesome Playground Injuries.” He also assisted on “Esperanza Rising” and “A Free Man of Color.” He directed for Glass Mind, Baltimore’s One Minute Play Festival, and the Baltimore Playwrights Festival, and he produced Glass Mind Theatre’s “Brainstorm” festival for four years. He holds undergraduate degrees in both theater and marketing from Towson University.
Additional special events for the play include an opening night reception following the performance on Feb. 12, and post-show discussions on Feb. 14 and 18.
