Spartan Cheer Captures 21st At IHSA State Championships

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Cheer squad from Marian Catholic High School captured 21st in competition for IHSA championships.

Marian Catholic scored 72.22 on Feb. 2 at the Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, earning a top 25 finish in State with the 21st best score in the Medium Division of the IHSA State Championships. Marian Catholic scored 77 points on Jan. 27 to earn fourth place at the Andrew IHSA Sectional and earn the trip to the IHSA State Meet.

The Spartan Junior Varsity squad placed 2nd at the Wilmington Invitational on December 10.
