SOUTH HOLLAND, IL—(ENEWSPF)—March 3, 2014. The South Suburban College (SSC) Men’s Basketball Team won their National Junior Conference Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Region IV Semi-Final Game in Oglesby over the weekend, defeating Oakton Community College by a score of 71-61. The #2 seeded Men (27-5) now advance to the Region IV Championship Game this Saturday, March 8th at 7:30 p.m. vs. Triton College. The game will be played at Elgin Community College.
The #2 seeded Lady Bulldogs (15-13) lost a heartbreaker 71-70 in overtime to their host Moraine Valley Community College. They made a tremendous comeback from down 21 before losing the game in OT.
