Rich East Alumnus Craig Hodges Receives Yet Another Ring

Los Angeles, CA–(ENEWSPF)– Former Chicago Bull Craig Hodges, a member of the Rocket Class of 1978, received yet another NBA World Championship Ring, when he received his 2008 NBA Championship Ring as a member of the coaching staff of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hodges received the ring several weeks ago at the Lakers season opener against their cross-town rivals, the LA Clippers.

Hodges was reunited with his former Bulls coach, Phil Jackson four years ago, and has been the Lakers’ shooting coach ever since. He played in the NBA for a decade, the last two years with the Bulls, when they won their first two NBA titles in 1991 and 1992. He won several 3-point shooting contests and still hold the NBA record of 19 consecutive 3-point shots. The Hodges family has remained lifelong Rockets as Craigs’ sons, Jibril (Class of 2002) and Jamaal (Class of 2003) are also Rich East graduates and also played on the hardwoods for the Rockets.
