PSC to Hold Info Night for Parents and Students

Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Choosing the right college is a tough decision. Prairie State College (PSC) is holding an Info Night to make that choice a little easier.

Among the many options that PSC offers, students can earn an associate’s degree to transfer to a four-year school or gain job specific skills to enter the workforce with a degree or certificate.

To learn more, students and their parents are invited to attend Info Night on Wednesday, June 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. Info Night will be located in the Business and Community Education Center, on PSC’s main campus, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.

Info Night is an open house designed to provide information about the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, student life, athletics, transfer degrees, and degree and certificate programs. Faculty, staff, and administrators will be on hand to answer questions.

“Info Night is a great opportunity for prospective students to meet with Prairie State College faculty and staff to get all their questions answered about starting here in the fall,” said Beth Wyack, enrollment advisor. “We are on hand to help students with their transition from high school to college.”

Those who can’t attend Info Night are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor; no appointment is necessary. Registration for fall classes is underway, and classes begin August 22. For more information about Info Night, call Wyack at (708) 709-7776 or e-mail [email protected].
