PSC Student Named Tournament Champion in Two Forensics Competitions


Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Prairie State College Forensics team member Nadia Crawley recently picked up two tournament championship wins at competitions held in November and December.

Crawley, of Lynwood, was named tournament champion in persuasive speaking at the Elgin Community College Tournament held November 19-20. Crawley also received fourth place in informative speaking.

At the College of Lake County Tournament held on December 11, Crawley was named tournament champion in persuasive speaking and picked up a second place win in informative speaking.

Also competing at the tournaments were Hannah Grasse, of Flossmoor; Kelli Campbell, of Homewood; and Adrianna Carr, of Park Forest.

“We continue to build on our quality events and are looking forward to how our team members continue to improve in the second half of the season,” said Dave Naze, associate professor, communication, and co-director of the Forensics program.

Elighie Wilson and Ed Schwarz, professors of communication, also coach the PSC Forensics Team.
