Ben Santori tossed three-plus innings of scoreless relief to earn the win for Marian (21-17), which has made only one other sectional finals appearance (1986) in school history. The Spartans rallied from a onetime 5-2 deficit on Wednesday. Marian will take on the winner of Joliet Catholic vs. Lincoln-Way West.

Sophomores: Marian committed 11 errors and allowed a nightmare 10-run second inning in dropping a 16-3 decision to the Redwings.

Freshmen: The Spartans were bounced by Benet, 11-1, although Bryce Hennessey was 2-for-2 with a run.
