University Park, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) at Governors State University recently recognized 137 undergraduate students who earned a 3.7 grade point average or higher during the Winter 2010 trimester.
"I’d like to congratulate each and every one of our undergraduate students who have shown an extraordinary amount of commitment to their course of study,” said Linda Samson, Ph.D., CHHS Dean and Interim Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies.
"Many of our students juggle very busy family and work schedules while enrolled in our programs,” Dr. Samson added. “This takes a great deal of discipline and dedication on their part. We thank our students for their perseverance as they prepare for their future roles as healthcare leaders and social service providers. They’re definitely on track with our College’s mission, which is, “Make someone’s life better.”
