Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Rep. Al Riley (IL-38) will host a forum on breast cancer awareness on Saturday, November 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Prairie State College. Titled, "Breast Cancer – What We All Should Know," the event will provide information on screening, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer.
Guest speakers include Richard Warnecke, PhD, the Director for the Program for Cancer Control and Population Science at the UIC Cancer Center at Chicago, Thomas Britt, MD, from the National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer (Chicago Chapter), and Mary Holmes-Johnson, RN, BSN, from the Office of Women’s Health at the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, IDPH.
