Public’s Help Sought in Search for Chicago Gang Fugitive

Chicago, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public’s help in locating and apprehending BRYAN CAMPBELL, whose last known address was 6423 North Claremont in Chicago.

CAMPBELL has been the subject of a nationwide manhunt, coordinated by the Chicago FBI, since January of this year when he was charged in a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago with violation of Federal drug laws. The investigation leading to the charges, code named “Operation Lathrop Homes”, was conducted jointly with the Chicago Police Department’s Gang Intelligence Section. CAMPBELL was one of eight individuals charged in connection with this investigation, but was the only one able to avoid arrest and has been at large since the charges were announced.

CAMPBELL, who is also known as “B”, is described as a black/male, 33 years of age, 6’2” tall, 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. CAMPBELL is an alleged leader of the Black P Stone Nation street gang, has an extensive criminal record and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone recognizing CAMPBELL or having any information about his current whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago FBI at (312) 421-6700.

The public is reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
