Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–May 6, 2010. The Park Forest Nurses Club will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Thursday, May 20th at Carlo’s Restaurant, 580 W. Lincoln Highway, Chicago Heights.
The ‘Special’ Guest Speaker will be Clara Barton, famous army nurse, humanitarian, teacher, and co-founder of the American Red Cross. A ‘wall of memory’ exhibiting photos of members, as well as books depicting the activities of the club, will be prominently displayed.
The program will also include the awarding of nursing scholarships for deserving area students and the installation of Officers for the 2010 – 2011 year.
