Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The Field Crest Cultural Enrichment Program and Performing Arts School, located at 201 Main Street in Park Forest, will be starting their first semester of classes in Park Forest on September 8. The school, which moved from a previous location in Chicago, will offer classes on modeling, acting, dance, etiquette and charm. There are classes available for all age ranges, from child to adult classes.
The first semester of classes will begin September 8, at a cost of $14 per class, which will meet for one hour one day a week. Classes will run from September till June, totaling 38 weeks for the semester.
Donna Davenport, president and CEO of the school, said her main concern is cultural enrichment, and some classes the school offers can help parents bring social consciousness to their children.
“Having charm classes in a child’s life may help them get a better job,” Davenport said.
Davenport said she was interested in the Park Forest area for its dedication to cultural and arts programs, which inspired her to open the school in the area.
Online sign ups and more information can be found at http://www.fieldcrestperarts.com. Walk in registration is also available starting Saturday, August 25, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The school will be having an open house August 25 from noon to 4 p.m., featuring performances from the school’s students at 1, 2, and 3 p.m. The event will also give the village a chance to meet the teachers aside from enjoying the performances.
