Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Park Forest Baseball league will begin early registrations for the 2009 season on Saturday, September 20, 20008, at the Village Hall in downtown Park Forest. It will run from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Early registration gives all players the opportunity to save money on their registration fee. A discount of $15 will be given to all players signing up on that day and paying all fees in full by December 31, 2008.
Two additional early registration dates will be held at Village Hall in the following months. The October date will be the 18th from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and the discount given will be $10. The November date will be the 15th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and the discount given will be $5.
The league offers teams from 4 years of age to 16 years of age. All players receive participation awards at the season-end picnic. Players chosen to the All-Star teams receive trophies as well. Prizes are given to the three top sellers in the fundraiser in the spring.
