Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Village of Park Forest awarded four scholarships to teens at Monday’s board meeting.

Adenike Cotton (Howard University), Alan Joens, Jr. (Central Methodist University), Markeia Kellogg (University of Missouri), and Delisa Thomas (University of Houston) are this year’s Park Forest scholarship recipients.

“The scholarship winners were selected from a pool of applicants vying for one of four available awards ranging from $500 to $1,000,” said Director of Communications Jason Miller. “To qualify, the Park Forest students must be entering their first year of college, with a high school grade point average of at least 2.75, with a combination of involvement in school and service in the community.”

“Park Forest congratulates Adenike, Alan, Markeia, and Delisa and wishes them all continued success as they begin the next stage of their academic careers,” Director Miller said.
