Newly-seated Board Will Also Vote on Committee, Board and Commission Appointments
Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Village Board will convene twice Monday evening, the first a Special Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. where Mayor John Ostbenburg will and the current sitting board will approve two sets of minutes, and the members on that board will adjourn sine dei, i.e. Latin, “without a day” to reconvene.
After what is likely to be a brief recess, the new board will convene, called to order by Village Clerk Sheila McGann. The new mayor, Jonathan Vanderbilt, and re-elected and newly-elected trustees, Tiffani Graham, Candyce Herron, and Joseph Woods will be sworn in.
Both meetings include time for public comment.
In the second Special Regular Meeting, the newly-seated board will vote on the following motions making appointments to committees, boards, and commissions:
