New Grocery Store Located in Former Marshall Field’s Warehouse Creating 175 New Jobs
CHICAGO--(ENEWSPF)--May 26, 2016.  Mayor Rahm Emanuel yesterday joined company officials and neighborhood leaders to open a new Cermak Fresh Market grocery store in the Avondale neighborhood. The store is bringing fresh food options and 175 full- and part-time jobs to the area. The project is part of The Fields, a $60 million mixed-use rehabilitation of the iconic Marshall Field’s Warehouse facility on the northwest corner of Diversey Avenue and Pulaski Road.
