Congratulations to Mayor Ostenburg

Congratulations are in order for Mayor John Ostenburg. Notice was received last week that the Mayor will be recognized with the 2019 Fair Housing Achievement Award from the South Suburban Housing Center. A reception will be held in his honor on the evening late April. Since I am sure John would not take the time to note this himself – I will do it for him. In receiving the recognition, John will be joining the ranks of a very prestigious group of recipients of this award that includes US Senator Dick Durbin, Former Senator Carol Mosely Braun, Former Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Congresswoman Robin Kelly, and Retired Park Forest Community Relations Coordinator Barbara Moore.
