Las Vegas, NV-(ENEWSPF)- Mayor John Ostenburg reported on the efforts of representatives from Park Forest and beyond to woo businesses to Park Forest at the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Las Vegas.

“Seven south suburban communities — including Park Forest — this year pooled efforts for one large south suburban booth — with separate tables for each community — at the International Conference of Shopping Centers in Las Vegas,” Mayor Ostenburg wrote on his Facebook page Monday. “This is the largest retail conference in the U.S. Great show so far, with lots of contacts with businesses we’re hoping to lure to our region. This is where we found the developer for the new Dollar General in Park Forest.

” Let’s hope we have good luck again.”

According to the ISCS’s website, “ICSC is the premier global trade association of the shopping center industry.
