  1. I am just at a loss for words. A grocery with gambling and drinking…keep on pulling in all the elements in this town…who do we have to thank for this decision, so that I can make sure they don’t get this household’s vote…what kind of back woods area has gambling and drinking in a grocery store…won’t ever catch us in there!

    • If it’s like the past two stores that have been there, it will be high prices with little selection. The liquor will be the only thing keeping it open longer than a year. Country Squire was a joke, not to mention almost every time I shopped there they tried to over charge me.

Park Forest has always been known as anti business, which is why no new business wants to come in. But Ostenberg will continue to act like he is business friendly even though his ramrodding the denial of the liquor license for Mr. Seif shows his true colors.

    • they have alot of them on the west side of chicago. not a good thing. they got rid of them in humbolt park quite a few years ago.

it’s going to attract hookers, junkies and drunks. terrible, unsophisticated decision. just awful. this village does not used common sense. it’s like they try to drive away new residents and diminish the area.
