Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- According to Village officials, Public Works crews continue to do all they can to keep up with the snowfall for the current winter.
Park Forest received about 7 inches of snow last Saturday, another 5 inches on Tuesday night/Wednesday and there is a call for 2 – 4 inches of snow this weekend.
At this juncture, Park Forest is nearing record territory with this year currently estimated as one of the top 5 snowiest winters.
Total snowfall has now exceeded 60 inches for the season as broken down below:
- November – 1.5 inches
- December – 10.7 inches
- January – 33.1 inches
- February – 15 inches
