Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Village of Park Forest is sponsoring free entertainment in downtown Park Forest for seven weeks this summer. The family oriented Main Street Nights features local and regional entertainers on stage in the Village Green located at Cunningham and Victory Boulevard. Vendors include civic groups selling snacks and beverages, plus- new for this summer- the Harvest Time Café & Catering, featuring grilled items and sides. Children can play in a bounce house provided by local business, the Wiggle Room. So grab a blanket or grab a lawn chair and enjoy the free entertainment under the stars, rain or shine!

(In case of rain, performances will be moved to Dining on the Green, next to the outdoor site)

7:00 p.m. – Top Hat The Magician

Grandmaster Magician/Illusionist creates magic for your mind!

7:45 p.m. – Jose Valdes & The Mombo All-Stars
The Mambo All-Stars play salsa, merengue, cumbia, cha-cha, and boleros, a cross section of all the Latin dance rhythms. Sonia Perez and Joe Gonzalez have been two of the top singers in Latin music for many years. The instrumentalists are the best on the Latin music scene.

7 p.m. – Little Nashville
As seen on ABC, NBC, CBS and GAC-TV, Little Nashville is “ROCKIN’ THE WEE WORLD"!!”Award-winning, Little Nashville, is a high energy, family-focused live concert that features the styling’s of today’s country music coupled with contagious lyrics that children of all ages are sure to enjoy.
7:45 p.m. – Denny Diamond

Denny Diamond delights audiences with music of Neil Diamond but also music made famous by Elvis, Johnny Cash, Ricky Nelson to name a few.

7 p.m. – Park Forest Idols 
The top finalists from the 3rd Annual Park Forest Idol Contest share their talent!

7:45 p.m. – MuzicnetThe talented staff and students of Park Forest’s very own Muzicnet will perform smooth jazz, Blues and Gospel.

7 p.m. – Rich East Drum line
The night is hot and the beat is hotter as the percussion section of the Rich East Band gets your mojo working!

7:45 p.m. – Southland Jazz Ensemble
Enjoy the best in classic jazz and hard driving swing by the finest big band in the Southland region.  Currently in residence at Prairie State College, the group is made up of some of the most highly regarded musicians in the area.

7 p.m. – Cold Blooded Creatures 
Back by popular demand! Jim Nesci entertains while educating the audience about reptiles. See and touch 4 types of reptilians.

7:45 p.m. – Classical Blast   Classical Blast is an innovative musical group that crosses genres, combining rock music with classical instruments.

7 p.m. –  The Rope Warrior
“What Zorro is to the sword, David Fisher is to the rope”. A high-energy show of trick rope techniques performed to a kaleidoscope of music performed with power, finesse and breakneck speed!

7:45 p.m. –  Silk & Smooth
Silk Williams, vocalist, and Sam Fulz, aka Smooth, serve up some hot jazz, R &B and funk!
