Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Demolition of the former Marshall Fields building continued through December in DownTown Park Forest. Bricks were bundled on pallets for sale and recycling. Mountains of top soil continued to arrive to fill the hole left by removal of the structure.
Toward the end of the month, Village Hall was closed as workers stabilized walls and made preparations to separate the offices from the remainder of the structure.
Work continues in January.
