In Park Forest, the Ballot is Almost Set for the April 7, 2015 Election

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The ballot is set, almost, in Park Forest, Illinois, for the April 7, 2015 consolidated election.

Candidates who have filed for mayor, in the order they will appear on the ballot, include:

  • John Ostenburg (incumbent)
  • JeRome Brown (sitting trustee)

For village trustee, those who filed include:

  • Mae Brandon (incumbent)*
  • Georgia O’Neill (incumbent)*
  • John Vanderbilt (challenger)
  • Gary Kopycinski (incumbent)
  • Tiffani L. Graham (challenger)

* According to a statement from the Village of Park Forest:

A lottery drawing to determine ballot placement will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Conference Room at Village Hall 350 Victory Drive, Park Forest IL 60466.

A lottery drawing must be held when, on the first day of filing, (December 15, 2014) more than one candidate is present at 9:00 a.m. to file their petitions, according to the statement.

The candidates who will be in the lottery drawing are:

Office of Village Trustee:

  • Mae Brandon
  • Georgia O’Neill

Candidates need not be present for the lottery drawing; Deputy Village Clerk Sandi Brown will advise each candidate of his or her ballot placement following the drawing, according to the statement.

For Park Forest Library Trustee, the following filed:

  • Erik Rodman
  • Felicia Rangel
