Matteson, IL—(ENEWSPF)—March 27, 2014. High school students participating in Congresswoman Robin Kelly’s annual Congressional Art Competition may submit their artwork by appointment at one of her three district offices, April 14 through April 19, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The winner’s artwork will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Artwork must be two dimensional, framed no larger than 28” x 28” x 4” and can include paintings, drawings, collages, prints, photographs, computer generated art, or mixed media (use of two or more mediums: pencils, ink, watercolor, etc.) All artwork must be original.
Rep. Kelly will host a reception where she will announce the winner and runners-up on April 26,beginning at 9 a.m., in the Lee E. Dulgar Gallery, located at South Suburban College in South Holland.
The high school art competition was established by the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982 to acknowledge and support the artistic talent of America’s young adults.
