Sustainable Agriculture and Green Education (S.A.G.E.) Expert to Talk at Local Sierra Club Meeting on March 13


MATTESON—(ENEWSPF)—March 7, 2017. The March meeting of the Sauk-Calumet Sierra Club Group will be held on Monday, March 13th.  The meeting will start at 7:15 pm, at the Frankfort Public Library.

Amy DiDominicis from the Children’s Farm in Palos Park will show slides and talk about the challenges and success stories of producing healthy organic vegetables and pasture-raised beef, pork, and poultry as part of the farm’s commitment to local, healthy, sustainable food production.

Both Sierra Club members, and the general public are welcome.

The Library is at 21119 Pfeiffer Rd. in Frankfort, visible from Rt. 30, a half mile or so east of LaGrange Rd.
