HOMEWOOD—(ENEWSPF)—April 17, 2017. The Cancer Support Center and Vegging Out invite you to explore the power of a plant-based diet. The event will take place on Thursday, April 27 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Cancer Support Center, 2018 Elm Street in Homewood. The presentation will be given by Nutrition Educator Chris Rosandich, MS.
Recent research shows that a plant-based diet can prevent or reverse heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and eve build immune function to fight cancer. Join us as we explore the benefits of a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, legumes and whole grains. Enjoy a taste of a plant-based treat made for you in our demonstration kitchen.
