Park Forest Library Presents a Special Women’s History Month Program on March 8

Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—February 27, 2014. The Park Forest Library, 400 Lakewood Boulevard, will present a special Women’s History Month Program on Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and all ages are welcome.

It’s moving day for Laura Ingalls Wilder. In this presentation Laura is preparing to move her family from South Dakota to Missouri in the spring of 1894. The program displays the challenges and the fun aspects of life on the frontier in the 1870’s and 1880’s. Families will learn that the extraordinary Laura Ingalls Wilder had a rather ordinary life just like them.
