Park Forest Commission to Award Several for Humanitarian Efforts


Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Park Forest Commission on Human Relations will be celebrating Black History Month on Saturday, February 27, 2010.

This year’s theme is entitled: “Michael Jackson: The Humanitarian & Musical Genius”. This celebration will be located at the Freedom Hall-Nathan Manilow Theatre, 410 Lakewood Blvd., in DownTown Park Forest from 2-4 p.m.

This event will be hosted by Gi-Gi Hightower and consists of performances by: Dance Expressions, Rich East Pom Pom team, Rico, Michael Jackson impersonator and much more. Free to the public.

During the show the Commission will honor the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, Rodney Walker and Michael McGrone for their Humanitarian efforts.
