Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–August 3, 2011. Park Forest American Legion Post 1198, 1631 Western Ave., Chicago Heights, will hold an outdoor concert fundraiser on Saturday, August 27 from 5 p.m. to ??. All ticket and raffle proceeds will benefit Honor Flight Chicago that recognizes our veterans, particularly those who served in World War II, for their sacrifices and achievements by flying them to Washington, DC to see their memorial.
Live music will be provided by:
- Richie Z — The World’s Greatest One Man Band,
- The Rockets — 50’s and 60’s Rock and Roll, and
- Rico Quinn — 60’s and 70’s Bues and Rock and Roll.
There will also be 50/50 raffles, Chinese raffles, and 52 Card Split the Pot.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Food and drinks will also be available to purchase.
