Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Knights of Columbus held their penultimate fist fry at the St. Irenaeus Religious Education Center, 207 South Orchard Drive, on Friday. Serving over 60 meals in two hours, the group is making ready for the last fish fry of the Lenten Season.

The menu includes all you can eat fish for $9.00, or six pieces of shrimp for $9.00. A combo meal with two fish and three shrimp costs $11.00. Soda or water are $1.00 each. All meals include mac & cheese, green beans, cole slaw, bread and butter.

Coffee and tea are complimentary.

Carry-outs are available, and there’s usually a 50-50 raffle or two or three happening each evening.

Lent began this year on Valentine’s Day, with Ash Wednesday falling on February 14. Easter, certainly not for the foolhardy, arrives Sunday, April 1.

Plan your Friday dinner now.
