Lakeview Pantry’s Young Leaders Board Hosts The Eliminate Hunger Social on Thursday, April 27


Chicago, IL –(ENEWSPF)—April 24, 2017.  The Young Leaders Board of Chicago’s largest food pantry, Lakeview Pantry, will host the 6th annual Eliminate Hunger Social at local restaurant, Barcocina, on Thursday, April 27. Over the past 6 years, the Eliminate Hunger Social has raised over $180,000 to directly benefit Lakeview Pantry’s emergency food distribution and social service programs.

Tickets can be purchased here.  Included in your ticket price are an open bar, a variety of delicious appetizers, and musical entertainment. This year’s event will also feature a VIP hour from 6-7pm with limited release beer provided by Lagunitas and a comedy show featuring some of Chicago’s best comedians!

During the evening, guests can support Lakeview Pantry by participating in raffle drawings and a live auction featuring fabulous items. These items include an autographed Joe Maddon jersey, tickets to Disney World, tickets to a Bears game, Cubs rooftop tickets, and a private beauty bash at Benefit Cosmetics! The evening’s emcee will be Maria Randazzo. Maria is a Chicago-based writer, actor, and comedian as well as an alumnus of The Second City Touring Company.

All proceeds from this year’s Eliminate Hunger Social will support Lakeview Pantry’s programs.
