Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Do you enjoy music that speaks to your soul? Then come experience the soulful sounds of Karen London on Saturday, June 12. Karen will be performing LIVE at the Illinois Theater Center in Park Forest, IL. Karen will be signing to us as part of the Rotary of Park Forest Annual Spring Fundraiser.

The Rotary Club of Park Forest was chartered in 1953 as an outlet for business and professional leaders who wanted to volunteer and give back to their community. Today, Rotary International includes more than 31,000 clubs worldwide. The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.

This year’s annual fundraiser will benefit the Shelterbox program and youth in the community. Shelter box provides shelter and life-saving equipment to families after natural disasters. The current program is to support the victims in Haiti and Chile.

The event will feature Hors d’oeuvres, dessert, silent auction and live music by Karen London. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Again, the event will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010. The event will start at 6 p.m. at the Illinois Theatre Center and Tall Grass Arts Association & Gallery, 371 & 376 Artists Walk, Park Forest, Illinois.
