Illinois Women Moving Forward Coalition Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 5

Springfield, IL–(ENEWSPF)–March 29, 2017. On the day after the inauguration of Donald Trump, millions of people took to the streets across the world to support equality, economic security and justice for women. Now we have an opportunity to turn that call into direction action. You can join us by attending the Illinois Women Moving Forward (IWMF) Coalition Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 5 in Springfield. Advocacy Day is your opportunity to take direct action and speak to your state legislators. Learn more and register today!

Illinois women made important gains in recent generations. Now, Illinois must resist the regressive voices from Washington, who want to limit women’s ability to make their own decisions and set the course for their own lives. Learn more about the Coalition’s legislative agenda, and register for Advocacy Day.

IWMF has secured two buses to help with transportation to and from the Chicago area on April 5. One will leave from downtown Chicago and the second will leave from Joliet. Both buses will leave early in the morning on April 5 and return the same day.

We hope you will be able to join us in Springfield to raise our voices in support of women’s health, economic security, and justice.
