Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Park Forest Historical Society will hold, "A Celebration of our Volunteers, Past and Present," Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. in Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive. The celebration will be preceded by a brief Annual Meeting and election of board members, with reports from the officers.
This is the first celebration held specifically honoring current and past volunteers, who have greatly assisted in the Society’s twenty-six year history. Volunteers are guides or docents at the House Museum, have worked on the Park Forest Local History Collection and Archives, have helped move the museum and collections, distribute brochures, design graphics, and help man a table at public events.

Meetings of the society are free and open to the general public.
