Park Forest, IL-(60466)- The Grande Prairie Singers will close their historic 38th season of bringing song to the Southland as they pay tribute to the “Seasons of Love” by showcasing their singular talents in concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2016, in Park Forest’s Freedom Hall.
According to a statement from the group, the performance will include “selections from the Great American Songbook, classic Broadway melodies and contemporary pop hits. The numbers will be sung by soloists, duets, small groups, as well as the entire chorus “in an impressive display of their abilities,” according to the release.
“The concert is the climax of a notable season for Grande Prairie Singers in which they shared the stage with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra last December and were honored by induction into the Park Forest Hall of Fame in April,” the statement continues.
