‘Fractured Fairytales’ at Union Street Gallery on January 31

Chicago Heights, IL—(ENEWSPF)—January 29, 2014. Union Street Gallery, 1527 Otto Boulevard, Chicago Heights, will host ‘Fractured Fairytales’ on Friday, January 31 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Storytellers, creative writers, and comedians- both novice and accomplished- are invited to read or present an original fairytale or shake things up and present an innovative rewrite of a classic. Costumes and props are encouraged. This event is family friendly and both adult and child participation are welcome.  Ready-to-read narratives will be on hand for non-writers who want to participate.

The event is free and open to the public. Valet dragon parking available upon request.

Storytellers must register ahead of time by contacting the Gallery at 708-754-2601 or e-mail [email protected]. Walk-ins will be welcome but are not guaranteed to read or perform.
