Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—April 19, 2016.  The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, will host the screening of a movie about the History of Homewood’s Izaak Walton Preserve on Saturday, April 23 at 7 p.m.  A discussion will follow the screening.

Come celebrate Earth Day (one day late) and learn the fascinating history of our local nature preserve, once a sand burrow pit owned by the CNN Railroad, now operated by volunteers.

Free coffee, tea and popcorn will be provided.  Bring a treat to share if you wish.  Optional donations gratefully accepted.
