Congresswoman Robin Kelly will host a Housing Expo to help homeowners with loan modifications and property tax appeals and to inform first-time homebuyers about down-payment assistance programs. The event will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Victory Apostolic Church, 20801 Matteson Ave., Matteson. Registration begins promptly at 9 a.m.
The Expo’s 20 exhibitors include the Cook County Board of Review, Chase, Bank America, Wells Fargo, Habitat for Humanity, Kankakee Housing Authority, CEDA, Neighborhood Housing Services and St. Paul VA Regional Loan Center.
